Located off the Northwest coast of Africa and only a 4 hour flight away, it’s no wonder the Canary Islands are so popular what with consistently warm temperatures, spectacular beaches and dramatic scenery. We recently enjoyed a trip to Lanzarote where we explored the likes of Playa de Papagayo, Montañas del Fuego (the Fire Mountains), the ancient town of Teguise, Mirador del Rio and the Jardin de Cactus. That’s not to say we didn’t make the most of our villa pool and soaking up that winter sun of course!
We’re thrilled to announce POD Travels has teamed up with Thomas Cook Airlines who have launched an awesome competition to win a holiday to any of the 7 Canary Islands! It’s really easy to enter the Thomas Cook Airlines #iHeartCanaries competition too, all you have to do is share a photo or video, that relates to the Canary Islands, on Twitter or Instagram, using #iHeartCanaries. There is no limit on the number of entries per person (full T&C’s at bottom of post).
So there are two amazing prizes up for grabs. The first prize will go to the entry with the highest number of votes at 5pm GMT on 24th April 2017. It includes flights for 2 people to the Canary Islands from a UK airport with Thomas Cook Airlines. This includes a luggage allowance of 20kg, inflight meals, priority check-in and priority boarding for both passengers. The prize also includes hotel accommodation for two people on a half-board basis for up to 7 nights. Flights must be booked by 30thJune 2017 with the flights taken in Autumn/Winter 2017 or Summer 2018 (excluding school holidays, Christmas/New Year). The prize is not negotiable or transferable and there is no cash alternative.
The second prize will go to the entry chosen by a dedicated jury who will choose their favourite photograph. This prize includes flights for 2 people to one of the Canary Islands from a UK airport with Thomas Cook Airlines. This includes a luggage allowance of 20kg, inflight meals, priority check-in and priority boarding for both passengers. Flights must be booked by 30thJune 2017 with the flights taken in Autumn/Winter 2017 or Summer 2018 (excluding school holidays, Christmas/New Year).
